Dress Down Donation

Monday, June 22nd, 2009

Every week we have a dress-down day which raises money for local charities. Money donated by staff is matched by the company. It was unanimously agreed to support Southport Kidz Klub, run by the Salvation Army.

Peter Woodroffe, Head of Business Development (Public Sector), who is a member of the Salvation Army presented a cheque for £320 to Major Gethin Thomas, Commanding Officer at Southport Corps. The money will be used to provide equipment for the Klub, which caters for up to 140 five to eleven year olds each week.

GO Awards Event

Friday, June 5th, 2009

The National GO Awards are the most coveted within public procurement, with entries received from all areas of the public sector.  A record number of individuals and organisations entered this year.

We were ecstatic to discover our first-time entry for the Best Small Business Award, supported by the London Borough of Bexley, was one of only six chosen to reach the national final.

The glamorous awards event was held on 4th June 2009 at The Institute of Civil Engineers, One Great George Street, London. Keynote Speakers were Michael O’Higgins, Chairman of the Audit Commission and Nigel Smith, Chief Executive of the Office of Government Commerce.

Congratulations to KiddiVouchers Ltd who were winners of the Best Small Business Award.
